- =========== POPANY Help ==============================================
-
- Below is the list presented when you enter:
-
- POPANY ?=
-
- at the DOS prompt.
-
-
- POPANY.EXE Command Line Switches
-
- ?= This help screen
- G= This switch should only be used if you intend to invoke the secondary
- DOS while you are currently within a graphics display. Its usage will
- cause an additional 16K of memory to be allocated for the saving and
- restoration of the graphics memory. This memory cannot be recovered
- without rebooting the system.
- I=xxx This is the invocation key scan code switch. If the default invoke
- key of ALT-F10 is undesirable, use this switch where xxx is the
- decimal number of the extended code you wish to use to invoke POPANY.
- M=xxx This is the memory allocation switch. POPANY will not allocate any
- memory until you tell it to do so. If you do not use this switch at
- loading, you will be prompted for an amount. The minimum amount is
- 1K. This, along with the transient portion of COMMAND.COM, will
- actually give you about 16K of work space.
- R= This is the Risky switch. Setting this switch will save about 6K,
- but may cause POPANY to not be compatible with some of your
- applications. Most applications and DOS commands (including FORMAT,
- DIR, FIND, etc.) will run with the Risky switch set.
